This conversation will explore the role that Augmented Reality plays in making the 21st century digital classroom a dynamic place to teach and learn. The research behind the Augmented Reality phenomena will be presented to show that it is a sound educational practice. Most importantly elementary, middle, and high school teachers as well as college professors will leave this conversation with several tools in their tool belt. Participants will dialogue about which Augmented Reality platforms are appropriate choices to enhance learning in their individual learning environment. The facilitator will share how Augmented Reality is changing and quickly as is technology and the shape of knowledge. The facilitator collaborates with various Augmented Reality lovers from all over the world. In fact AR educator and world renowned author Paul Hamilton from Australia will be joining the conversation from half way across the world. We will ultimately create a course in iTunes U that we can all use in our learning environments.

Conversational Practice

Participants will make an iTunes U course together during the workshop. We will do a Google Hangout with some of colleagues around the world who are AR lovers.
