In this session, we will not only discuss multiple tried-and-true ways to build a spoken word poetry team, but also ways that these methods can contribute to an English or History Curriculum. Along with poets from the Philly Slam League, we will discuss prompts and activities - and every attending teacher will leave with a free copy of PSL's curriculum, which covers any teacher's first 10 poetry clubs!
